Synopsis
Ruthless casino owner Willy Bank never imagined that the odds were against him when he double-crossed Danny Ocean's friend and mentor Reuben Tishkoff, putting the distraught Reuben in a hospital bed in critical condition. But Bank miscalculated... badly. He may have taken down one of the original Ocean's Eleven, but he left the others standing and, worse for him, gave them a shared purpose: to take Bank down on the night of what should be his greatest triumph--the grand opening of his new casino, appropriately named The Bank. Their strategy is twofold. First, they will ruin him financially by turning the tables on the precept that the house always wins. But, that's just money. The knockout punch will be to Bank's personal pride and joy: his reputation as the only hotelier who has earned the Royal Review Board's Five Diamond Award on every single one of his hotels. The plan is elaborate, dangerous and damn near impossible... but there are no limits when it comes to one of their own.

FilmCritique.co.uk Review
I enjoyed this; a good old fashioned crime caper. A vast improvement on part 2 and as good as the first.
It's fast moving, stylishly shot and basically a lot of fun to watch.

Amazon.co.uk Review
Dropping Catherine Zeta Jones and Julia Roberts from the cast list, but signing up the smaller matter of Al Pacino instead, the rest of the players remain broadly intact. So it?s George Clooney?s Danny Ocean who leads the team of cons, supported by Brad Pitt, Matt Damon, Andy Garcia, Don Cheadle and Carl Reiner. And it?s the easy chemistry between these and the rest of the team that underpin what makes Ocean?s 13 such an enjoyable ride.
The plot pits Ocean and his gang against Al Pacino?s ruthless casino boss, and while the script perhaps lacks the cleverness and dense plotting that worked so well in the first adventure, it still leaves plenty of room for outright entertainment.
The end result is an easy-to-enjoy caper, that?s not the equal of Ocean?s 11, yet far superior to Ocean?s 12. And considering it was released in the midst of a summer where threequels generally weren?t too well received, Ocean?s 13 arrives in fine shape, and rounds off the trilogy with real panache. --Jon Foster
